Minister of Home Affairs Ramesh Akhtar has said that international cooperation and coordination between law enforcement agencies is necessary to address the multifaceted challenges of international organized crime, cyber crime, terrorism, etc.
This was said by the Home Minister at a special ceremony held at the police headquarters on Saturday regarding the centenary of the establishment of Interpol.
Home Minister Akbar said that international police cooperation is of special importance in dealing with criminal activities, and there should be expertise, good practices and mutual information sharing at the international level to effectively control such criminal activities.
He emphasized that everyone should make a joint effort to make the society peaceful, safe and fearless.
