Federation requests Spanish investors to increase investment

Chandra Prasad Dhakal, President of Federation of Nepal Chamber of Commerce and Industry, has urged Spanish investors to increase their investment in Nepal as there are plenty of opportunities.

Dhakal made the request in a meeting with Barcelona Chamber of Commerce President Josep Santacreu Bonjoch at the federation's secretariat on Friday. In the

meeting, Dhakal referred to the trade data between Nepal and Spain and asked the two chambers to find a way to cooperate for trade and investment. "Nepal's strategic location between India and China provides unique opportunities for trade and investment in the world's two largest markets," said Dhakal, "We have adopted an open and liberal trade policy to bring in foreign investment in Nepal." Dhakal said. President Bonjoch responded that there could be good cooperation between the two chambers.

He promised to initiate a good partnership with the federation.
