Neuro Cardio and Multispeciality Hospital Biratnagar has started operation of state-of-the-art City Scan Machine and Dexa Scan Machine with AI powered 128 slice capacity for the first time in Nepal.

Koshi Pradesh Chief Minister Hikmat Kumar Karki inaugurated the machine during a ceremony on Thursday. This machine has been imported at a cost of five and a half crores.

The hospital's operational director Rajesh Bhattarai informed that the head, nerves, bones etc. will be checked with the city scan machine and angiography of the heart will also be done with it.

He informed that the hospital has been investing heavily in the use of technology since its inception. He said that in the last 6 months, two state-of-the-art and latest technology equipment, MRI and City Scan machine have been brought in by investing crores of rupees.
