Surendraraj Regmi has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Global IME Bank. The Board of Directors meeting of the bank held on Thursday decided to appoint Regmi as the CEO.
The bank has informed that Regmi, who is the senior deputy chief executive officer of the bank, has been appointed as CEO with effect from August 1, 2081.
Regmi has three decades of experience in the banking sector. He joined Global Bank in 2065 from the level of Deputy Manager. Regmi holds a Master's in Economics from Tribhuvan University and a Master's in Business Administration from the University of Wales, UK.
Regmi has worked at the supervisory level in Global Bank in the areas of credit management, risk and control, banking operations, branch operations and merger management.
