Eight months after its release, the Nepali folk song 'Kashmere Pachauri' has become a global trending track on YouTube. The song is ranked 98th on the trending 100 songs list as of Thursday night.
On the first place of music trending is 'Aaj Ki Raat' from the Hindi film 'Stree 2' which was uploaded on YouTube a month ago. The second one also has another song from the same film. Coke Studio's 'Carol G' comes in the third place, Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars' 'Die with a Smile' and 'Toba Toba' from the Hindi film 'Bad News' are on the fourth and fifth numbers respectively. YouTube has collected more than 548.1 million views from the 100 popular music videos on the list.
YouTube's most popular music video of this week has been released as 'Top 100 Music Videos Global' in the 'Global Chart', which has the story and direction of Mausam Himali, has also placed 'Kashmere Pachauri'.
The video, which was uploaded by a YouTube channel named Babukrishna Pariyar on January 4, has so far received 19.3 million views and more than 6,800 comments with 164,000 likes. Babukrishna has sung Deepika Bayambu to 'Kashmere Pachauri' with lyrics and music by Nischal Dawadi. They are accompanied by Pramesh Ghimire, Siddharth Ale Magar, Rupi Sinjali and Prema Rana Magar in the group singing.
'Kashmere Pachauri Darjeelingko Rail, Laam Saili Pirti Dok Din Rahjunjel' lyrics, because of the simple music and sweet rhythm of the song, seems to have got a global audience and listeners. Similarly, the video starring Kepina Gotame and Babukrishna has also been prepared in a simple format covering the rural situation. The song has also been placed on YouTube, iTunes, Amazon, Spotify, Apple Music and other music platforms.
