Indira Gandhi was assassinated on October 31, 1984 at 9:30 am. She was killed in her residence at Safdarjung Road in New Delhi. After the assassination of Indira, her son Rajiv Gandhi became the Prime Minister of India. Rajiv was also assassinated on May 21, 1991 while addressing an election meeting.

After the Sikh community, the Indian opposition party Congress supporters are more angry with him . He says that Congress supporters are threatening and pressuring him not to release the film. The Mumbai High Court on Wednesday refused to grant an immediate censor certificate to the film. But a bench of Justices BP Kolabawala and Firdos Poniwala ordered the Censor Board to resolve the censor issue by September 18 to consider the controversy surrounding the film.
