The Nepal Youth Conference will be held in Australia for the first time next Saturday. Youth from every state in Australia will participate.


The main objective of the conference is to bring the skills, efficiency, and financial capability of the youth in Australia to Nepal. Thir Gurung, secretary of organizing organization NRNA Australia, informed that through the program, the role and opportunities of youth will be explored for the development of the social, cultural, economic and tourism sectors of Nepal.

The organizer has said that in this program organized for the first time with wide participation, there will be representation of young people involved in various professions and businesses in every state of Australia. Recently, since the youth here are becoming successful in profession and business, a way to bring their economic, social and ideological abilities to Nepal will be sought through the program. The

program will also provide information about the policies and laws in Nepal for listening to the opinions of the youth and for skills and financial investment. After the conference, the government of Nepal will also be suggested to improve the policy program to create an investment environment. Govindraj Pokharel, former Vice President of Planning Commission, UML leader Yogesh Bhattarai, Badri KC, Central President of NRN are coming to Australia from Nepal to participate in the

program. Anil Pokharel, president of

organizer NRN Australia, said that the program is going to be organized with the aim of making the youth participate directly in the development of the country. "There are now thousands of successful businessmen and professionals in Australia as well as NRNA, and the main goal of this program is to use their skills, competencies, and abilities in the appropriate areas of Nepal," he told Kantipur.

The Nepali people here have been complaining about the difficulty in various policies and regulations for investing in Nepal from Australia and also having to suffer due to bureaucracy. In addition to this, the businessmen here have not been able to invest in Nepal as much as they thought because there is no investment assurance environment. Organizers said that this conference will look for opportunities for investment in Nepal and also discuss the current investment laws and regulations.
