The foundation established by the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) Australia has received recognition from the Australian Charities and Nonprofits Commission (ACNC).

In addition to that, the organization has also received the recognition of 'Deductible Gift Recipient'. With this recognition, donations made by an individual or organization to the NRNA Australia Foundation can be claimed for an annual tax refund. Expressing happiness that

foundation has been recognized by ACNC, President of NRNA Australia, Anil Pokharel said that the foundation will remain as a separate autonomous body and it will be active in the field of rights and interests of not only Nepali people living in Australia but also all communities. He said that NRNA Australia will build a structure and operate the foundation.

NRNA Australia Foundation, the spokesperson of NRNA Australia, Babin Mishra, released a statement and said that after being recognized by ACNC, the foundation has become more comfortable in the fields of charity and community support.

Mishra said that the foundation established in 2021 focuses on economically weak migrants, refugees, homeless, at-risk, disabled people.
