Gokarneshwar Municipality of Kathmandu has launched video content based on local curriculum. On the occasion of Education Day, the video content was launched today in a ceremony organized in the municipality.
In order to further develop the knowledge, skills and abilities of the students, the municipality has informed that the video content of the local curriculum of class one has been brought into operation. In the
program, the head of the municipality, Deepak Kumar Risal, said that the initiative was taken with the aim of teaching the students about the professions, businesses, religious and tourist places operating within the municipality. According to the municipality, this step has been taken according to the plan to expand the education sector with technology.
The municipal head Risal told that the local curriculum of other classes will be gradually converted into video content. Meanwhile, personalities who contributed to education within the municipality and students who got the best grades in the secondary education examination SEE and class 12 were honored.
