Uparkoti first in rhetoric on the occasion of Bhanu Jayanti

Uparkoti, who stood first in the competition organized by the Global Gorkha Society on Saturday, received a cash prize of 50,000, a medal and a certificate. The first inter-university rhetoric competition has been organized on the topic of "Gorkha's contribution to nation building, from past to present".

Similarly, Arya Gotame of Janshakti Mavi Namjung came second, Pradeep Vishwakarma of Bhimodaya Mavi Arughat third and Saraswati Nepali of Janakalaya Mavi Siranchok and Dharmodaya Mavi Palungtar became the best consolation. Indra Prasad Bhattarai, deputy coordinator of the organizer Global Gorkha Samaj Nepal, said that the second, third and consolation prize winners received cash prizes of 35,000, 20,000 and 10/10,000, respectively, along with medals and certificates. 19 people from 10 municipalities of the district participated in the competition. The winners of the

competition were distributed prizes by Lila Periyar, Deputy Head of the District Coordination Committee, Yadu Lamichhane, Nepal Coordinator of the Global Gorkha Society and others.
