The idea of ​​making a museum of the club and the beginning of the work for it may have started ten years ago. But now it has taken a concrete shape. It can be considered a great achievement as an act by a club. It was formally handed back to the club on Tuesday after the

upgrade. Earlier, Kathmandu Metropolitan City Ward 27 did the work of making it worth seeing with financial support. More precisely, Yogesh Kumar Khadgi, the president of the ward. Annapurna RCT is one of the most successful clubs in Nepali football history. RCT alone has won the Shahid Smarak League 'A' Division six times.

Now this club is in the 'B' division. Ward chairman Khadgi says, now local players should be produced, for this the ward is ready to help. Naresh Vaidya worked to prepare the initial idea of ​​the museum. He has been working in this job for the last decade. Suresh Shakya, the president of the club, is one of those who open his heart to help him in this work. Both are shocked to see the shape the museum has taken now.

Both of them are planning to make this museum more elaborate. Now the question is, how does this museum tell history? There are probably three answers to this. First Martyr Memorial League 'A' Division Original Shield. Guess what, maybe this is the Ramzan shield too. This shield is preserved in this museum.

RCT won it three times in a row over 30 years. This shield is the only evidence that can tell about its previous winner. And after looking at it, the question may arise, what kind of team was this police force and Army-11? Where did teams like Vidya Vyayam Mandir, Friends Union, Deorali Club, Sunakhari Athletics go? This museum also has a happy birthday cup. RCT won this cup in the year 057. The trophy remained with the RCT thereafter. This birthday cup, the most popular in Nepali football, was officially held that year for the last time. In a

coincidence, RCT also won the first edition of the year 030. Since the monarchy was gone, this competition would not have happened. However, this cup is also telling many stories. Like, the highly sensational rivalry between the police and Thimphu-11. There was such a period in Nepali football, when the match between the police and the Bhutanese team thrilled the entire Kathmandu. There is another shield in the same museum. This is the National League trophy.

In Nepali football, very little has been written about the national league. No one can say, when did the idea of ​​a national league really start? According to this shield, RCT has won this competition consecutively from the year 039 to 042. Therefore, this shield remained under the control of the club. Similarly, Umesh Pradhan is one of the best players Nepali football has ever had. All the medals and achievements he won in his sports life, he has given all the evidence to this museum.

It also has two historic gold medals won in men's football at the 1984 and 1993 South Asian Games. These are two such golds, which we have started to forget now. Or let's say, the new generation has forgotten it. Shouldn't the story connected with this be done for the new generation? Thus, this museum has left many such questions in Nepali football, the answers of which must be sought. Otherwise, Nepali football will always remain incomplete and incomplete.
