Nepal lost to Canada by a big margin

This is Nepal's fourth loss in five matches in League-Two and the team has managed to collect only two points. This is Nepal's third defeat in a row. Canada stopped the streak of four consecutive defeats in the competition and got the fifth win in nine games. He now has ten points and has climbed to the second place in the league table .

After winning the toss, Nepal invited Canada to bat first and scored 253 runs for eight wickets. In reply, Nepal lost all the wickets in 40.1 overs and managed to score only 150 runs. None of the batters could make a dynamic contribution for Nepal. Batsman Karan KC scored 27 runs off 24 balls in the tenth order as the highest individual score.

Sandeep Lamichhane scored 22 runs and opener Asif Sekh scored 20 runs for Nepal who lost wickets at regular intervals. Among the Canadian bowlers, Dylan Helliger proved to be deadly and took five wickets for 31 runs. He made both Nepal's openers his victims. Similarly, Akhil Kumar and Anas Patel took two wickets each.

Earlier, Captain Nicholas Crichton scored 77 runs for Canada and was not out. He hit three fours and six sixes in 44 balls. Similarly, opener Navneet Dhaliwal contributed 48 runs.
