Kathmandu Metropolitan City has won the second Prayagraj Singh Suwal Memorial Inter-Ward Futsal Tournament.

On Tuesday, Kathmandu Metropolis beat host Ward 23 by 2-1 in a tie breaker at Lainchour Futsal Ground. Ward 2 and Ward 6 won in other games.

Kathmandu Metropolis and Ward No. 23 played a 1-1 draw in the scheduled match. Anup Pradhan of Mahanagara and Rajeev Chitrakar of Ward 23 scored goals. Anup was man of the match.

When Ward 9 defeated Ward 27 by 2-0, both goals were scored by Mingma Lama Tamang. He was the man of the match. Ward 6 defeated Ward 11 3-2. Biplav Lama, Dipesh Shrestha and Keshav Bhandari of the winners and Janak Koirala and Ritesh Mahato of Ward 11 scored the goals. Keshav Bhandari was the man of the match. Sunita Dangol, Deputy Mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City, inaugurated the

competition. The winner of the competition, in which 31 wards including the Metropolitan City Center, will receive a prize of Rs 2 lakh and the runner-up will receive a prize of Rs 1 lakh. Those who excel in academics will also get 10,000.
