Sujan Tamang of Tokha Bhairav and Magar of Apsana Roka won gold in the first Tokha Mayor Cup Wadorio Karate competition on Monday. Sujan won gold in men's singles and Apsana won gold in women's singles.
Anuroj Thapa Magar of Azima under 25 kg, Sihan Rana of Gongbu under 30 kg, Shulabh Rajabahak of Manmanju under 35 kg and Suraj Rajabahak of Manmanju over 60 kg won gold in the competition held at Kathmandu Euro School.
Nepal Wadorio Karate Do Sangha technical support and Nepal Wadorio Karate Do Sangha, Tokha Dojo Women under 25kg Nisuka Maharjan of Royal Karate, Under 30kg Isti Pahari of Godavari, Under 35kg Gongbuki Uni Adhikari, Under 40kg Elina Tamang of Manmanjuki, Under 45kg Manmaijuki Pratishka Tamang and Nagarjuna's Srikan Tamang under 50 kg bagged the first position . Tokha Municipality Mayor Prakash Adhikari inaugurated the
competition. President of Nepal Wadorio Karate Do Association and Senior Vice President of Nepal Karate Federation Harisharan KC and others were present. 350 players from 25 teams are competing in 21 events in the competition organized with the support of Tokha Municipality. The competition will end on Tuesday .
