He reminded that even though there are challenges in sports investment as a developing country, it is a happy moment for its athletes to create a proud history on the world stage. President of Nepal Olympic Committee Jeevanram Shrestha discussed that the congress of sports journalists in Asia is highly appreciated when Nepali sports journalism is taking leaps and bounds. were.

More than 50 sports journalists from 30 countries participated in this AIPS Asia Congress. In the opening session, the president of AIPS Asia, Hee Dong Jung, said that Asia is leading in world sports and the example of this is clear from the success of Asian countries in the last Olympics.

After the opening session, in the discussion on women's empowerment moderated by Indian journalist Prathana Hazarika, Taekwondo's Palesha Govardhan, who won a historic bronze medal at the Paris Para Olympics, Shivani Thapa of Nepal Television, Chinese female journalists and representatives of e-Sports Asia participated.

The Nepal Tourism Board presented a documentary about the historical places, tourist areas, language-culture, mountains-mountains-terai and the geographical situation of the country which are in the world heritage list of Nepal. President Hee Dong as Nepal's goodwill ambassador

Hotel Association of Nepal (HAN) has appointed AIPS Asia President Hee Dong Jung as Nepal's goodwill ambassador.

HAN President Vinayak Shah and AIPS Asia President Hee Dong signed a memorandum of cooperation. According to the agreement, more than one thousand member journalists of AIPS Asia will get 10 percent discount facility in hotels associated with Han when they come to Nepal.

Similarly, an agreement has been signed between AIPS Asia and CMR Nepal for sports journalism training. A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between AIPS Asia President Hee Dong and CMR Nepal Director Ujjwal Acharya. According to the agreement, CMR Nepal will provide AIPS Asia with a training quota of two sports journalists every session. AIPS Asia will get the training quota on the partial scholarship of Nepal Sports Journalists Forum (NSJF).

Delegates to the Congress will also observe the 21st NSJF Pulsar Sports Awards on Friday. The award program will be held in the afternoon at Nepal Pragya Bhavan.
