The pair of Nitesh Budhathoki and Krivit Bhandari of Mokshada have won gold in boys doubles of the 2nd PEF inter-school table tennis tournament.

In the finals of the tournament organized by the Progressive Education Forum (PEF) under the sponsorship of St. Lawrence School, the pair of Nitesh and Krivit defeated the pair of Vishal Lama and Vipsan Ghimire of Mnemonic by 3-0 in straight sets. The duo of Vivan Karki and Krish Thapa Magar of Rudramati Pathshala came third.

The pair of Mission Public's Grishma Tamang and Sujita Rai won the gold in girls doubles. The pair defeated last year's runners-up Priyanka Thakur and Diksha Gurung of St. Lawrence by 3-2 sets in the final. The pair of Rudramati winners Basnet and Anjali Thapa Magar came third. The

winner was awarded by All Nepal Table Tennis Association Vice President Govardhan Shrestha, table tennis players Ivana Thapa Magar and Sikka Suwal Shrestha, St. Lawrence Principal Purushottam Maharjan, PEF President Sita Bhattarai and others.

In a one-day tournament, 40 players from 10 different schools competed in 2 events, said Naveen Bahadur Singh, table tennis coach of St. Lawrence.
