DAV Sushil Kedia Vishwa Bharti School 'A' team of Lalitpur has won the title of the first Baburam Pokharel Memorial Inter-School Super Six Cricket Tournament.
DAV 'A' defeated DAV School 'B' team in the final of the competition organized by VS Niketan School at GHCA Crixal, Hattivan.
DAV 'B', who won the toss and batted against the normal target of 25 runs, DAV 'A' registered a 6-wicket win without losing a wicket in just 4 overs. In scheduled 6 overs, DAV 'B' lost all wickets in 5 overs. Player of the Final DAV's Keshav Agarwal took 3 wickets with 6 runs. On the batting side, Subrata Mallik scored 14 unbeaten runs.
DAV 'A' beat LRI School by 22 runs And DAV 'B' defeated AP School by 6 wickets to reach the finals. A great player and batsman, DAV 'A' became famous. The best bowler was Mankamana's Wilak Neupane. Teams from 26 schools of the valley competed in the three-day competition.
