Para Taekwondo player Palesha Govardhan, who won a historic medal in the Para Olympics for Nepal, has been signed as the promoting partner of Kantipur Television. A tripartite agreement was signed between Kantipur Television, Palesha and Nepal Taekwondo Association on Thursday.

The agreement was signed by Kantipur Television Chief Executive Officer Shishir Pachai and Taekwondo Association President Prakash Shamsher Rana. Palesha, after winning a bronze medal at the Paris Para Olympics, returned to Svedash only on Wednesday. Palesha is the first athlete to win a medal for Nepal in Summer and Para Olympics.

Television and Sangh have signed an agreement to cooperate until December 2024. Accordingly, Kantipur Television will broadcast live the competitions included in the Taekwondo Association's calendar.

Pachhai mentioned that the decision was made to cooperate with Taekwondo, which brings medals at the international level for Nepal, realizing the responsibility of bringing it to more people.

The 4th Mount Everest Championship will be held in Nepal from November 8 to 13. According to the association, 2000 players from 25 countries will participate in the ranking competition.
