A legal notice has been sent to the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) on Sunday to immediately ban former Bangladesh cricket captain Shakib Al Hasan from all cricket. Rafiqul Islam's lawyer made this demand before the board.
Islam is the father of Rubel, a garment factory worker, and he has accused Al Hasan of being involved in his son's murder. Rubel was killed during the agitation against former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
A case has been filed against 147 people on that charge and one of them Hasan is also there. He is currently in the Bangladeshi team that is touring Pakistan.
He played an important role in making Bangladesh win by ten wickets in the Test held in Rawalpindi. Al Hasan was also associated with Hasina's Awami League and was also a Member of Parliament.
