Koshi Pradesh has won the title of Koshi Pradesh Chief Minister's Cup National Women's Volleyball Tournament. In the final match on Thursday, Koshi won the title by reversing the situation of being behind by two sets against Sudurpasmich Pradesh.
Koshi won the third set 25-23, the fourth 25-18 and the fifth set 15-13 consecutively and bagged the trophy with a cash prize of three lakhs.
Sudurpaschim settled for 150,000. He won the first and second sets equally 26-24 in his favor. In the competition in which four provinces participated, Madhesh province came third with 74,000 and Bagmati province, which was fourth, won 50,000 hands. Neha Chaudhary of Madhesh Pradesh was declared the best spiker of the
competition, Rekha Thagunna of Sudurpaschim was declared as the best center, Riti Kadayat of Sudurschim as the best server and Sunita Rai of Koshi as the best blocker, Monika Shrestha of Koshi as the best defender and Sunita Khadtaka of Koshi as the best player.
