When the government was preparing to submit the budget for the current financial year in the meeting of the state assembly on Monday, the speaker of the assembly, Bhim Bahadur Bhandari, adjourned it for 20 minutes after the opposition party MPs raised questions about the legality and protested.
In the Far West, which has been in a budget vacuum for two months, the government has prepared to submit the current fiscal year 081/82 on Monday. But the MPs of the opposition parties, Maoist and United Socialist Party, protested by claiming that bringing the budget twice for the same financial year is unconstitutional. Akkal Bahadur Rawal, the deputy leader of the main opposition party Maoist Center Parliamentary Party, said that the government should bring the budget only through constitutional methods and procedures.
