Dengue infection has been confirmed in four people of Patan municipality-5 of Baitadi. According to the Patan Primary Health Center, three of the infected people live in the village and one person is from outside the village.
According to Premsagar Bhatta, Public Health Inspector of Patan Primary Health Center, dengue infection was confirmed in four people from the same village during a check-up after fever.
As there are other fever patients in the village, there is a possibility that dengue infections will increase. He said that in collaboration with Patan municipality, preparations are being made to check the village. According to Bhatt, preparations are being made to send a team of health workers from the health center to go to the dengue-affected village for checking.
If a person is infected with dengue, symptoms such as high fever, headache, body joint and muscle pain, and reluctance to eat are seen. Health workers have said that if such symptoms are seen, it is necessary to check for dengue.
