Due to the landslide, the transport services in the hilly districts of Far West have been disrupted. Dadeldhura police said that road traffic on Bhimdatta highway has been completely blocked due to a landslide in Sahukhark of Ganyapadhura rural municipality-1 of Dadeldhura due to continuous rains that started from Thursday.
Landslides started falling in Sahukhark from Thursday evening. Due to the landslide on the Sahukhark road, the vehicles that left for the destination of Terai from the hilly districts of the Far West and from the Terai to the seven hilly districts of the Far West were stopped at Sahukhark, the police said. Although dozers tried to remove the landslide on Thursday evening, a large landslide occurred at night.
The KI Singh highway has been blocked after a landslide also occurred in Raduwa of Ganyapadhura rural municipality-2 of Dadeldhura. The Dadeldhura police said that the Jogbudha-Budar road was also blocked due to the landslide in Alital of Dadeldhura. Dadeldhura police has issued a notice and asked to be alert as the rain has not stopped and landslides are continuing.
