Due to rain and lightning, the electricity service here has been disrupted since last Wednesday. The electricity service has been disrupted due to problems in various areas of the 33 and 11 KV transmission lines located here.
Due to the lack of electricity service, there has been a problem in the daily work as well as in the service delivery of government offices.
Ganesh Bishta of Dogdakedar Rural Municipality-3 Srikot said that there is a problem due to lack of electricity. He said, 'With no electricity, they have to live in the dark, even charging their mobile phones has become a problem. Due to lack of charge, I had to be without communication.'
According to Nepal Electricity Authority Distribution Center Chief Janardan Paudel, the problem for the regular operation of electricity service due to continuous rains informed that. It has been raining continuously here since Wednesday evening. The weather forecast division has put six districts of far west including Baitadi on red alert, indicating that it will rain till Saturday.
Chief District Officer of Baitadi Bhimkant Sharma asked to be cautious as it is raining continuously. He said, 'It has been raining continuously for two days. The weather forecast division has put Baitadi on red alert. Everyone is requested to be cautious.'
