10 passengers injured in a jeep accident at Dhamigada in Darchula

Ten passengers were injured in an accident in a passenger jeep Dhamigada going from Gokuleshwar to the headquarter Khalanga. According to the police, a jeep numbered SE 1 J 1022 was involved in an accident in Malikarjun rural municipality-8 Dhamigada.
According to the District Police Office, Darchula, 10 people were injured when the jeep went out of control in Dhamigada and overturned into a drain on the side of the road. The police said that all the injured were brought to the district hospital for treatment. Ramprasad Bhusal, who was at the accident site, said that some of the injured were bleeding due to head injuries.
The address of the injured has not been revealed. As soon as the news of the jeep accident was received, the police from the police station Pasti were dispatched to the spot, according to the district police office. The jeep driver has been detained by the police.
