A girl who was injured in a jeep accident in Baitadi's Surnaya on Tuesday died during treatment. 18-year-old Sabina Mahara of Surnaya Rural Municipality-8, who was injured in a jeep accident, died in Dhangadhi during treatment, the family said.
Relatives informed that Mahara, who was seriously injured in an accident with Jeep No. 0100J 1354 in Surnaya Village-8 Dhungakot on Tuesday morning, died during treatment at Dhangadhi. Among the injured, Sabina was referred from Dadeldhura Hospital to Dhangadhi for further treatment. District Police Office Baitadi said that four other people who were injured in the jeep accident have returned home after treatment in Dadeldhura.
The jeep driver Lal Bahadur Kunwar of Surnaya Rural Municipality-7, 21-year-old Krishna Madai of Surnaya-8, 45-year-old Man Bahadur Mahara and 40-year-old Dhan Bahadur Mahara of the same place are the jeep drivers who were injured in the accident. They returned home after being treated in Dadeldhura.
According to the police, the jeep fell 20 meters down the road. Jeep driver Lal Bahadur Kuwar has been detained for investigating the accident, the police said.
