A teenage girl went missing after drowning in Khutia river in Kailali on Sunday.
Kavindra Bohra, Deputy Superintendent of Police of District Police Office Kailali informed that the missing person is 16-year-old Jenisha Awasthi, who lives in Dhangadhi sub-metropolitan city-14G village.
According to him, Awasthi and her 14-year-old sister Savi Awasthi drowned while bathing in the Khutia river near Veli Bridge between 15 and 7 in Dhangadhi sub-metropolitan city.
Savi was rescued with the help of the police and locals, but Jenisha has gone missing. The police said that the condition of Savi is serious and the search for the missing Jenisha is underway.
