Police have arrested a health worker in Baitadi on the charge of forced labor. 41-year-old Dhanak Bahadur Dhami, in charge of Ganjari health post in Sigas rural municipality-2 of Baitadi, was arrested on Wednesday, said Deepak Giri, head of District Police Office Baitadi.
Giri said that Dhami was arrested on the basis of a complaint filed by a 31-year-old unmarried girl who said that Dhami had repeatedly raped her. According to the police, Dhami is being investigated at the area police office in Patan.
