A suspicious object has been found in front of the house of Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba in Dhangadhi.
District Police Office Kailali spokesperson Kavindrasingh Bohra has said that a suspicious item was found in a bag in front of Deuba's house near Dhangadhi sub-metropolitan city-4 employee savings fund.
As soon as the information was received, the army team from Teghri barracks was deployed to the incident site in the night and the bomb disposal team led by the soldiers was in the process of disposing of the object on Sunday morning, police spokesman Bohra said.
Chief District Officer of Kailali, Dharmendra Kumar Mishra, said that an investigation is underway to find out what was inside the bag. According to the police, Prakash Deuba, a member of the Sudurpaschim Provincial Assembly, is living in the house of Speaker Deuba.
