There has been a drinking water problem after the landslide swept away the water source. Four days ago, due to the rains, the water supply service was disrupted after a landslide occurred in the spring of Kotila Lifting Khanepani located in Malikarjun Rural Municipality-4.

According to local Pawansingh Dhami, the landslide has completely damaged the pipes and solar panels connected to the tank. The water tank, solar panel and motor have also been damaged after the landslide fell from above in the source of drinking water.

He says that the problem of drinking water was caused by a sudden landslide when the water supply reached the village through the solar lift . After the landslide damaged various water supply structures, 35 households of Kotila settlement faced problems. After the landslide in the water source, the locals are now forced to bring water from Machhain spring, which is one and a half/two hours away.

Another local Laxmansingh Dhami said that after reaching the village through the lift, the suffering for drinking water has eased, but after the damage caused by the landslide, the sad days of having to fill the water began. The landslide has completely damaged 50 meters of pipeline, solar panels. Along with Kotila settlement, the students of Chadekhan Basic School in Balichan have to face the problem of drinking water.

In the use of toilets, the locals say that there are many problems for drinking water, even though they collect water from the sky during the rainy season.
