Kamal Bahadur Shah, the Chief Minister of Far West, who was appointed on Sunday, took the oath of office and secrecy before the provincial chief on Monday. Along with his oath, Shah has also appointed 6 ministers and three ministers of state and formed a 10-member cabinet. Ministers and ministers of state were also sworn in on Monday.

This time, as in the previous government, it was not possible to complete the cabinet. Chief Minister Shah has succeeded in getting all the ministries and even the state ministers to take oath with him.

Sudurpaschim This time, Nepali Congress, UML and Civil Liberties have shared power. Nepali Congress has appointed Bahadur Singh Thapa of Kanchanpur as Minister of Economic Affairs, Meghraj Khadka of Achham as Minister of Social Development, while Prakash Bahadur Bam of Kailali has been appointed Minister of State for Economic Affairs and Saraswati Khadka of Dadeldhura has been appointed as Minister of State for Social Development.

Surendra Bahadur Pal from Baitadi, Bir Bahadur Thapa from Kanchanpur and Hira Sarki from Kanchanpur have been appointed as Minister of Internal Affairs and Law from CPN-UML.

Doti's Nirmala Saund has been appointed as the Minister of State in the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure Development. Lakshman Kishore Chowdhury of Civil Liberation Party, who has been appointed as Minister of Industry, Tourism, Forest and Environment, is from Kailali.
