Cholera patients were found in Kailali and measles-rubella patients in Kanchanpur. According to Health Office Kailali, cholera was confirmed on Thursday in two young men, 23 and 26 years old, from Pashupati toll in Dhangadhi. Cholera is also suspected in one more girl, but it has not been confirmed. He is currently being treated at Seti Provincial Hospital Dhangadhi.
Similarly, a nine-year-old child and another four-month-old child from Shuklaphanta Municipality-11 in Kanchanpur have been confirmed to have measles-rubella, according to the health directorate.
