Khadk Bahadur Bishwakarma, spokesperson of Nepal Communist Party Biplav group, said that his party will contest the 084 elections with new ideas, programs and plans. He reached Kalikot on Friday via Banke, Surkhet, Dailekh as part of the nationwide production campaign conducted by the party. He said that his party will use the upcoming elections with a new plan to change the mentality of the Nepalese people towards politics and that nothing will happen.
In the 2079 election, although he ran as an independent candidate at some local levels, he admitted that he was unable to achieve success due to disputes within the party. Vishwakarma is a popular leader of Calicut. He was elected in the 064 Constituent Assembly election with 51 percent of votes. Speaking at a press conference organized by the
party in Manm, Bishwakarma claimed that even though the communist public vote in Nepal is around 66 percent, the people are not able to include everyone and because of self-centered leaders, the people are not feeling the change . 'Dissension and division are the diseases of the communists,' he said to the media's inquiry about the Samajwadi Front. ;
He also said that the 7-point agreement made by Congress and UML for power sharing is natural. "It is fine if things that are not in accordance with the constitution are settled, otherwise, if there is an attempt to curtail people's rights, his party will warn," he said. He also said that the proportional system that is currently being adopted has been misused by the leaders.
In response to the mediaperson's complaint that the Biplav group had created panic in the society by donating, he claimed that 'being a party dependent on the people, they did not force anyone even though they sought support'. He also said that he emphasized on the production of collective farming on barren land throughout the country so as not to take anything from the people. "This year alone, we have cultivated rice and corn on 300 bighas of land," he said, "we are now moving into a nationwide campaign with the new idea of connecting the people and the party." He also said.
