An old man died due to electrocution in Salyan on Friday evening.
Mohanlal Wali, aged about 70 years, of Bagchaur Municipality 3 Sotaghar of the district died due to electrocution.
Wali was electrocuted while connecting the motor to draw water from the river for paddy irrigation in the field near the house and died on the spot, said Police Inspector Resham Bahadur Khatri, Information Officer of District Police Office Salyan.
He informed that a team including Navin Thapa, police inspector of Thamare, EPR, has reached the spot and the work is being done to collect the bond. After collecting the bond, the guardian's He said that the body will be brought to the district hospital for post-mortem.
