Karnali Province Economic Affairs and Planning Minister Mahendra KC said that his party is waiting for the decision of the party center to leave the government.
In a press conference organized by Federation of Nepalese Journalists Rukum (West) in Rukum West on Wednesday, he said that since the alliance of parties at the center has changed, now it will affect the province as well.
He said that there is a sad situation in Nepal where the political environment has to lead the government and the change of government has to lead political change. 'Provinces could not be autonomous. As soon as there is a political upheaval at the center, it affects the provinces. We have become victims of this,' he said.
Minister KC also emphasized that the successful implementation of this year's budget under his leadership is essential. He said that the provincial government is serious about reducing the damage caused by natural calamities during this rainy season and all the stakeholders should be aware of this.
