Chief Minister of Lumbini Province Chetnarayan Acharya said that it is necessary to make the province free from corruption to give meaning to the slogan of prosperous Lumbini, self-reliant province. He said that the province has made good governance, technology friendly and made it more effective in delivering services to the citizens.

Addressing the program of the main ceremony of Constitution and National Day 2081, Chief Minister Acharya said that the complaints of the citizens should be addressed in time to make the province corruption-free and to develop frugality and virtuous style in working styles. He said that all political parties should stand together and unite to make Lumbini province prosperous.

He said that the Lumbini state government has made and implemented 72 laws from the state assembly and some laws are in the process of being made.

Acharya says that the government has moved forward to formulate and amend the necessary laws for the management of low manpower, the management of the state capital at a new location, the completion of state pride projects and the management of low manpower.

Lumbini Provincial Government's second periodical plan concept paper, ten-year long-term strategic plan, policies and programs presented by the provincial government, he said, is being implemented by formulating the budget. Due to which, he claims that Lumbini is leading in all the seven provinces. He said that in terms of economic reforms, gross domestic product has increased, per capita income and the rate of multifaceted poverty have decreased.

The infant mortality rate and the maternal mortality rate have also decreased. Chief Minister Acharya said that the citizens' access to development infrastructure including education, health, roads has also increased and our programs are aimed at bringing the overall development of Lumbini province to the citizens through good governance, social justice and prosperity.

State President Krishna Bahadur Gharti Magar hosted the event, Speaker Tularam Gharti Magar, former Chief Ministers Dilli Bahadur Chaudhary and Jokh Bahadur Mahara, Urban Development and Water Supply Minister Saroj Thapale and others spoke.

To make the Constitution Day grand and creative, tableaus reflecting the art and culture of different communities have been exhibited. Magar, Tharu, Newar, Brahmin and other communities have their own community's art culture He performed a tableau.
