Two people were killed in an accident in which two motorcycles collided at Lathapur on Nepalganj Agaiya Hulaki Road in Rapti Sonari Rural Municipality-4 of Banke. Three people were seriously injured.
According to the police, among the five seriously injured in the accident, Ramsharan Tharu, the driver of motorcycle No. 12 P 3195, Rapti Sonari-4 of Baijapur, died on the way to the hospital for treatment, while the driver of motorcycle No. 12 P 4828, Rapti Sonari-3 of Khaireni, died on the way. Basant Tharu died during treatment.
Chief DSP Dharmaraj Bhandari of Kohalpur area police office said that two people died and three others were seriously injured in the accident. No. 4828 Honda motorcycles collided on Wednesday evening.
Both who were seriously injured in the accident Sanjay Tharu, Sangin Tharu and Ajay Tharu of Khaireni who were riding the motorcycle were seriously injured. They are being treated at a nursing home in Nepalgunj.
