The police have arrested three people from Bhairahawa in Rupandehi on charges of drug dealing. According to the police, the person was arrested on the basis of a tip-off that drug dealing was going on in headquarters Siddharthnagar-4, Lumbini Road. The police said that various drugs were recovered from them.
According to SP Ranjitsinh Rathore, Chief of the District Police Office, a joint team from the District Police and Narcotics Control Bureau branch office stopped the motorcycle and scooter they were riding and seized the drugs.
Ramkaran Harijan of Marchawari rural municipality-1, Shaileskumar Sahani, Kothimai-2, and Suraj Kumhal of Nautanwa, Maharajgunj, India, were arrested by SP Rathore with the drugs.
According to DSP Manohar Prasad Bhatt, information officer of the district police, 600 ampoules of Phenragon, 600 ampoules of diazepam, 600 ampoules of Talgesic, and 1 gram of a substance resembling brown sugar were recovered from them. Also, a motorcycle with the number Lu11P 4102 and a scooter with the number Lu33P 726 have been recovered.
