Bank and Rampur municipality agree to open an account in the ward

There was a discussion regarding the services provided by the banks and coordination with the municipality. In the discussion, they agreed to operate the bank account of the consumer committee of the benefits and plans of the residents who receive social security allowance. Krishi Bikas Bank in Rampur Municipality-1 and 10, Laxmi Sunrise Bank in Ward 2, Muktinath Bikas Bank in 3, Nepal SBI Bank in 4, Garima Bikas Bank in 5, Kamana Seva Bikas Bank in Ward 6, NIMB Bank in 8 Bikram Basnet, Head of Planning Branch, said that the National Commercial Bank and Global IME Bank Rampur branch on the 9th went to the ward office to open the account of the Scheme Consumer Committee.

Mayor Raman Bahadur Thapa informed that it has been decided to open bank accounts in the current financial year in Rampur Municipality and provide banking facilities by visiting every ward. There are 9 banks and financial institutions within Rampur municipality. Account opening service will be provided to the Yojana Consumer Committee by reaching all the wards for the convenience of the citizens. Mayor Thapa said that the bank account of the plan consumer committee will be opened through all the ward offices of the municipality.

In coordination with Rampur municipality, social security allowance will be distributed to the residents of the city through mobile service from the ward and toll. Head of Krishi Bikas Bank Rampur branch Keshavraj Dotel said that the municipality will fulfill its responsibility for serving the people. Kapil Bahadur Khan, city spokesperson of Rampur municipality, suggested that every financial service provided by the bank should be made easy and simple. He said that since both the bank and the municipality are for the service of the people, it is necessary to coordinate and cooperate in the delivery of services and programs.

Rampur municipality has requested all the banks within the municipality to bring uniformity in the operation of the accounts of the consumer committee to be operated within the municipality in the fiscal year 2081/082. Spokesperson Khand said that for the convenience of the citizens, the municipality plans to go to each ward office to open an account and distribute the social security allowance from the ward and tol. He said that it is necessary to make the service provided through the bank effective and convenient by giving priority to senior citizens and people with different physical abilities.
