A 14-year-old teenager has drowned and disappeared while bathing in the broken Geruwa river of the Karnali river. He went with his friends from home saying that he was going to study tuition.
District Police Office Information Officer and DSP Tulsiram Aryal informed that 14-year-old Deepak Bajgai of Geruwa Rural Municipality-5 Sukhkhad, who went to study tuition with his friend, disappeared while bathing in the Geruwa river.
He said that he went to study tuition with his friends at 9 am. After being informed by his friend Gaurav Khatri on Saturday afternoon, the police said that the police team and the locals were engaged in the search operation. The water level in the river is high. The rescue operation of Bajgai is continuing, police said.
