According to Gana, such items seized while evading customs from India and entering the country have been registered at the Bhairahawa Customs Office for necessary action. In this way, there is a large amount of narcotic marijuana along with domestic and commercial sponsoring materials among the seized items.

Two months ago, the armed police seized 287.46 kg of ganja which was about to be taken to India through the border. Superintendent of Armed Police Anand Thapa Magar informed that the armed forces seized the marijuana from the border of Siddharthnagar Municipality and Rohini Rural Municipality of the district when they were preparing to cut the road by changing trucks at different places. Thapa said that an Indian citizen involved in ganja trafficking was also arrested.

The armed police said that 18 women who were at risk were rescued from different places in the district. Armed Police Superintendent Thapa said that after the rescue of the woman who was about to be taken to India for various purposes, she was entrusted with the anti-trafficking organization. "Miking and awareness classes have been conducted by units under Gana for fire control," he said. "We have mobilized armed police to control the fire."

In addition, he said that he is active in the search for the rescue and disappearance of people affected by floods and drowning during disasters. He said that regular coordination and joint patrols with Indian counterparts are being done to control cross-border crime. Thapa said that armed forces have been patrolling the border for 7 days every month.
