Constitution Day and National Day 2081 District Level Organizing Committee Lamjung honored the members of the Constituent Assembly.

Constituent Assembly members elected from the First Constituent Assembly and the Second Constituent Assembly and proportional members of the Constituent Assembly were honored in the formal program after the morning procession organized on Thursday in Bensi Sahar.

Purna Bahadur Gurung, chairman of the organizing committee and head of the district coordination committee, Gumansingh Aryal, head of Benisahar municipality, chief district officer Buddha Bahadur Gurung, etc., wore a dosalla and presented certificates for playing an important role in the creation of the constitution.

Member of the Constituent Assembly and former parliament member Zamindraman Ghale stressed that everyone should be committed to implementing the federalism achieved after the federal democratic republic.

UML's Prithvisubba Gurung and Maoist's Buddhiram Gurung were elected in the first Constituent Assembly in 2064 in Lamjung. Dol Bahadur (DB) Karki of UML and Himkumari Sunar of Maoist were proportional MPs.

Ghale of UML and Chandra Bahadur Kunwar of Congress were elected in the second Constituent Assembly election 2070. Tukabhadra Hamal of UML and Dr. Bhishmanath Adhikari became proportional MP . Congress's Dil Bahadur Gharti and Maoists' Lal Bahadur Gurung became proportional MPs.

Constituent Assembly member Ghale accepted his honor himself . Prithvisubba Gurung, elected and proportional member of parliament from CPN UML, Dr. Bhishmanath Adhikari, Tukabhadra Hamal and Dol Bahadur (DB) Karki were honored by District President Rajkumar Bista.

Chandra Bahadur Kunwar, elected proportional MP from Nepali Congress and Krishna Bahadur Adhikari, district secretary of Dil Bahadur Gharti, accepted the honor. Party Secretary Sunil Sunar accepted the certificates of honor of Buddhiram Gurung and Lal Bahadur Gurung, MPs elected from Maoist and proportionate. Apart from UML's Ghale, none of the former MPs were present in the program .
