On the occasion of Constitution Day and National Day 2081, the families of martyrs and missing victims in East Nawalparasi have been honoured.

The family members who sacrificed their lives for the creation of a new constitution were honored in the main ceremony presided over by the head of the district coordination committee, Baburam Vishwakarma. Martyrs' family members Vinumaya Vick, Kamal Gyawali and missing family members Pawarti Sigdel were honoured. Speaking at the

ceremony, Constituent Assembly member and Gandaki Provincial Assembly member Roshan Bahadur Gaha, representatives of political parties and stakeholders said that the current constitution is excellent and emphasized that the implementation level should be made effective.

After the former Nawalparasi district was divided into Lumbini and Gandaki provinces with the federalization, he demanded to amend the constitution and change the name of the district to Nawalpur, saying that the district had to be written as East and West Nawalparasi.
