The dead bodies of those who died in the jeep accident at Galkot in Baglung under Madhyapahari Lokmarg on Friday will be handed over to their families by this evening.
On Friday morning, three people were killed when a jeep numbered 1000 from Kathmandu towards East Rukum fell down 300 meters from the road in Bhunkhani of Galkot municipality-2.
The body of the deceased is currently kept in Galkot Nagar Hospital. Police Inspector Pratap Paudel of District Police Office Baglung said that the autopsy of the deceased has been started from this morning and the body will be handed over to the family by evening.
In the incident, the vice president of Putha Uttarganga Rural Municipality Bhupendra Budha, his 61-year-old mother Gopimaya Budha and the chairman of Ward No. 3 Jasbir Sirpali died.
The seriously injured 29-year-old driver Prem Bahadur Pun has been sent to Pokhara for further treatment after CT scan at Dhaulagiri Hospital.
