Two teenage girls from Kathekhola Rural Municipality-7 of Baglung have been found safe and sound after 14 days of their disappearance. The missing girl was rescued from Kakdavitta and Chitwan and handed over to her relatives.

Vijay Yadav, Information Officer of District Police Office, Baglung, said that Sandhya Kisan and Amrita Kisan, who were studying in class 9 and 10 of Nunthala Secondary School in Resh, had gone missing since the morning of August 13. To search for them, the police sent information with photos all over Nepal and mobilized the police.

When Amrita was being taken to India, she was rescued by her relatives in Jhapa and handed over to the family through the police, said Om Bahadur Thapa, the principal of the school. Sandhya was rescued from a hotel in Chitwan by the police and handed over to her relatives.
