Tuberculosis has been found among the prisoners of Baglung Jail. On Friday, among the 14 prisoners participating in the health examination conducted jointly by the Baglung Health Office and the municipality, 5 were confirmed to have tuberculosis.
According to Devprakash Ghimire, Tuberculosis Inspector of Health Office Baglung 3 people have complicated type and 2 people have normal type of tuberculosis .
'Because there is a danger of spreading tuberculosis, I have asked the prisoners to wear masks and put them in isolation immediately,' he said, 'If we don't take care immediately, there is a risk of infection.'
There are more than 150 prisoners in the prison are . Baglung's Assistant Chief District Officer Chitrangat Baral said that everyone's health will be tested immediately and they will try to prevent the spread of the disease by tracing contracts.
5 tuberculosis patients found on Friday only in the first month of the current year 23 people have reached. Last financial year, 313 tuberculosis patients were found in Baglung. Last year, 4 people died due to tuberculosis.
