The cabinet meeting held on Wednesday appointed Nepal from Sindhupalchok to the vacant post of vice president. At the meeting, Government Spokesperson and Minister of Internal Affairs and Planning Surajchandra Lamichhane informed that Gunaraj Moktan from Kavre and Dipendra Shrestha from Kathmandu were appointed as members of the Commission. Shrestha was also a member of the Commission.

Deepak Lama from Nuwakot has been appointed as the Member-Secretary of the Provincial Sports Development Council. Minister Lamichhane informed that he was appointed with the approval of the Ministry of Sports on the proposal of the Ministry of Social Development. Although the Ministry of Social Development was divided and the Ministry of Sports remained, there was a problem in the appointment of member-secretaries due to legal obstacles.

The meeting has approved the staff positions of the Ministry of Labor Employment and Transport and Agriculture and Livestock Development. This agenda was stopped in the previous meeting due to lack of approval from the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Planning.

In addition, the meeting of the Council of Ministers on Wednesday has also decided to approve the budget expenditure allocated by the state government for the office of the federal unit of the Ministry of Industry, Commerce, Land and Administration.
