After 28 months after the completion of the local elections, the Nepali Congress will go to the districts and review them.
Due to the delay by the Congress in the formation of the central coordination department at the local level, the review of the election completed in May 2079 is going to start from the end of this August. The department is going to start its first program from Hetounda, the capital of Wagmati province.
Congress Makwanpur held a meeting in Hetaunda on Wednesday and informed that the preparations for the program have started. After the party formed the local level central coordination department, the program is going to be held in Hetaunda for the first time. We have asked all the candidates in the local level, ward, municipality, city and sub-metropolis to attend the event," said Congress Makwanpur President Buddha Lama. According to him, there will be a review of the local level elections and a discussion about the future guidelines. "Now the department will interact with local level candidates all over the country," he said.
Union General Minister Bishwa Prakash Sharma is scheduled to address the gathering on 30th of August. Congress central member Madhu Acharya is the head of this department.
