Two under-construction bridges on the Narayangadh-Muglin road section are being put into operation before Dasain. The remaining two bridges on that road have been targeted to be completed by October.

The bridge of Kali and Namsi river which is under construction is ready to be put into operation before Dasain. According to Krishna Acharya, engineer of Nagadhunga-Muglin road project west section (Narayangadh-Muglin), only the black sheet work of those two bridges is left.

He said, 'We are working with the goal of bringing these two bridges into operation by December.' Four of the 19 bridges on that road section are under construction. The remaining two Tuin and Khare Khola bridge access road and black paper work is still pending. According to Acharya, the target has been taken to complete these two bridges by the end of October.

Out of the 19 bridges on this road section, a contract was signed for the construction of 15 bridges on Chait 10, 2076. Earlier, four new bridges were constructed. Four bridges were built in 2020. The cost of fifteen bridges is one billion 28 million rupees. Anak Construction won the contract for the bridge.

Those bridges were built with the help of the World Bank. After the road was widened, the bridge work was started. This road has been widened from 9 to 11 meters. There is a 7.5 meter vehicular section in the middle of the bridge, while a 1.5 meter wide footpath has been built on both sides.

The work has been delayed due to the need to cut the wall in Tuin river and compensation in Khare. This road is the main road entering and exiting the capital. In the past years, due to landslides, we had to suffer a lot during the rainy season, but recently, with the widening of roads and bridges, it has become somewhat easier.
