A drowned child died during treatment.
According to the District Police Office, the three-year-old son of local Hari Bahadur Kumal passed away at the corner of Bharatpur Metropolitan City-26 Khairghari Durga Temple Road at 3:20 PM on Sunday.
The child was rescued from 200 meters below the place of the landslide and admitted to Bharatpur government hospital for treatment. Chitwan District Police Office spokesperson DSP Bhesraj Rizal said that he died at 7 pm during treatment.
